Indiana University Kokomo is a regional campus committed to enhancing the economic development, quality of life, and educational attainment in our north- central Indiana service region. We believe that by working together, we can make our communities better. As a public institution of higher education, it is our responsibility to use our abilities and resources to lift up the region. We partner with non-profit organizations, businesses, K-12 school corporations, health care, and economic development organizations all in an effort to create better opportunities for everyone.
The Center for Community Engagement works to be a campus-wide resource to connect IU Kokomo faculty, staff and students with businesses, non-profits, and community-based organizations throughout our service region, and to be a central point of contact for community members. Our engagement focuses on creating campus and community partnerships and collaborations that are reciprocal and mutually beneficial through teaching, research, and service. The Center connects the community to expert university faculty and resources that address local and regional needs.
