Adjunct faculty teaching loads cannot exceed any of the following limits:
- 9 credit hours per semester
- 4 credit hours for the entire summer session
Courses taught at any IU campus count toward these limits. Thus, an adjunct faculty member teaching 3 credit hours at IUPUI and 6 credit hours at IU Kokomo in the same semester would have reached their limit for that semester.
There is no cumulative limit: limits only apply to each semester or the summer.
