Hi, Parents!
So, the time is here. Your child has graduated or is on track to graduate high school and is ready to take the next step into higher education. You’re inevitably proud, thrilled, and maybe a little nervous about what comes next. Whether you are familiar with college and higher education or brand new to the whole experience, we know how vital the support of a student’s personal network can be to their success. As parents or guardians of a new or prospective Indiana University Kokomo student, we want you to feel informed and confident about their choice.
We understand that the transition to college holds special challenges for both students and their guardians. Between the University lingo and all the steps in the process, it can seem really daunting. The important thing to remember is that we have people to help every step of the way. Don’t understand what something means? Not sure who to talk to answer your questions? It’s okay! Reach out and ask. There are no silly questions when it comes to the path of higher education and each step after enrollment.
