We are ready to assist families of current and potential students, as well as the community at large, with information about the availability of financial assistance, to support educational goals.
Financial aid and scholarships are awarded to support bachelor’s degrees, as well as selected master’s degrees and certificate programs. The Office of Financial Aid and Scholarships is dedicated to ensuring that you obtain the most beneficial financial aid package that you are eligible for, including awards that recognize both scholastic achievement and financial need.

FAFSA Workshop
You will need the following items to complete the 2024-2025 FAFSA:
- Student and Parent FSA ID
- Student and Parent Social Security Number and Driver’s License, and/or Alien Registration Number if you are not a United States Citizen.
- Student and Parent 2022 federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned.
- Student and Parent bank statements and records of investments.
- Student and Parent records of 2022 untaxed income.
Our office is still available to assist with FAFSA needs via Zoom. If you would like to set up a Zoom appointment with a representative from our office, please email us at iuk.finaid@iu.edu with three available date(s) and time(s), Monday through Friday between 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. EST, and we are happy to help you with your FAFSA form in the comfort of your own home.
FAFSA is available for the 2024-2025 academic year. Families will use 2022 tax information to complete the application. Each student and one parent will also need to create an FSA ID to sign and submit the application.
The Indiana State Grant FAFSA has been permanently extended to April 15.
