Benefits for full time faculty end on the last official date of employment. For non-administrative faculty, this is typically represented by when they stop teaching classes for the university. For example, if a faculty member completes her final course for the university in May, his/her benefits typically end at the completion of that semester (May 31st), regardless of the date the faculty member notifies the university he/she is not returning. Atypical situations will be addressed on a case by case basis, and with the approval of the Chancellor, Executive Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Associate Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, and a Human Resources representative.
