The principles below form a conceptual framework that describes expectations of all graduate students at IU Kokomo. The faculty in a student’s field of study determines expectations that are more specific. Together, these expectations identify knowledge, skills, and abilities graduates will have demonstrated upon completing their specific degrees. Therefore, students graduating from master’s degree programs at IU Kokomo will be expected to:
- Demonstrate mastery of the knowledge and skills expected for the graduate program and/or
- Integrate and exhibit professionalism as articulated by the
- Generate scholarly artifacts that will measure analytic reasoning
- Evaluate discipline specific literature, solve problems, and improve practice in their field of study through critical
- Formulate innovative solutions to enhance professional
- Demonstrate effective verbal, electronic and written communication to peers, clientele, and the
- Identify, analyze and assimilate the ethical standards established for their discipline and/or
- Develop and display leadership skills necessary for successful professional
- Articulate the effects of culture, diversity, values, and globalization within professional
