Course Delivery
In Person (P) Courses
In Person (P) courses:Traditional campus-based face-to-face instruction. Students and the instructor will be in the same room together synchronously. Some instruction and/or instructional materials may be online. Only 0% to 25% of the instruction may be offered online. The health and well-being of you and your classmates are priority; therefore, if you are not feeling well, please do not attend an on-campus class meeting and communicate with me for alternate options. Reasons involving COVID may require medical documentation to receive extended arrangements.
Hybrid Courses (HY)
Hybrid courses (HY): Students and the instructor will be in the same room together synchronously for some aspects of instruction. Some instruction will be delivered online (asynchronously) and/or through Zoom (synchronously). 26% to 75% of the instruction is provided through asynchronous online or synchronous live video instruction. The remainder of the instruction is provided through traditional face-to-face instruction. Regular on-campus meetings are required. The health and well-being of you and your classmates are priority; therefore, if you are not feeling well, please do not attend an on-campus class meeting and communicate with me for alternate options. Reasons involving COVID may require medical documentation to receive extended arrangements.
100% Online (OA)
"100% online (OA): Students will never be physically present with the instructor. They can interact with one another asynchronously through discussion forums, recorded video, chat, and scheduled meetings. 100% of instruction is provided entirely through asynchronous online education in which the student is not bound by place or time. No on-campus meetings are required. Any synchronous live video course activities should be optional and/or recorded for later viewing with no additional penalties or hardships for the student (eg., having to write a paper to “make up” for missing a live video lecture). If you are not able to complete online modules due to reasons involving COVID, you may be required to provide medical documentation to receive extended arrangements. The health and well-being of you and your classmates are priority.
Distance Education (DO)
Distance Education (DO): Students and the instructor are not physically in the same space, but students must attend regularly scheduled live Zoom sessions in order to receive instruction. 76% to 100% of the instruction is provided by synchronous live video instruction. Some on-campus class meetings may be required. If you are not able to attend an online class meeting due to reasons involving COVID, you may be required to provide medical documentation to receive extended arrangements. The health and well-being of you and your classmates are priority.
