If you’re starting the journey toward college, be sure to include Indiana University Kokomo in your choices! A small, friendly campus near central Indiana, IU Kokomo offers the prestige of an Indiana University degree at an affordable price.
There are a variety of ways for you to visit and explore our campus, each designed to make your college decision as easy as possible.
Develop your connection to IU Kokomo during your personal visit. You will have a one-on-one meeting with an admissions counselor to learn about the application process and scholarship opportunities, and to chat about the academic programs that interest you. Then, you’ll experience a student-led tour of our beautiful campus and learn what it means to be a Cougar!
Visits are offered Monday-Friday at 9 a.m., 11 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m., and typically last about 90 minutes to 2 hours.
Join us for Junior Exploration Day! A half-day event offered each spring, this visit is designed to give current high school juniors and their families a jump start on the college experience. During your visit, you will chat with faculty, staff, and current students, and learn about the admissions process, financial aid opportunities, and our student support systems and resources.
During Junior Exploration Day, you’ll also learn about IU Kokomo’s unique KEY (Kokomo Experience and You) program, and tour campus with one of our students before finishing with a complementary lunch in the Kelley Student Center!
A free application to IU Kokomo and a t-shirt are included in your attendance.
Do you want to see and experience all that IU Kokomo has to offer? A VIP Day visit may be the choice for you! VIP Days are special visits geared toward high school students interested in discovering all of the amazing opportunities available at IU Kokomo.
During your visit, you’ll learn more about admissions, financial aid, student support services, and our unique KEY (Kokomo Experience and You) Program. You can join an academic breakout session with our faculty members to gain insights into the academic program that interests you, and explore the campus on a student-led tour.
A free application to IU Kokomo and a t-shirt are included in your attendance. VIP Day events are held in the fall and spring semesters.
The Spring 2024 VIP day is February 16th.
If you can’t make it to campus, don’t worry! We can meet with you through a virtual information session. Your visit experience will be conducted over Zoom and will include a one-on-one meeting with your admissions counselor to discuss the application process and scholarship options, and to chat about the academic program that interests you. You can also take a virtual tour of campus and explore all that IU Kokomo has to offer.
