Biography
Konstantin Zhukov is an Assistant Professor of Economics in the School of Business at Indiana University Kokomo. Konstantin graduated with a Ph.D. in economics from George Mason University in 2023 where he was a Fellow in the F.A. Hayek Program for Advanced Study in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics at the Mercatus Center at George Mason University. After grad school, he spent one year in Texas, as a Visiting Assistant Professor in the Department of Economics at Trinity University.
Konstantin is interested in development economics, transition economies, and economic sociology. During his studies at George Mason, Konstantin has been able to productively pursue these interests, and as a result, has published a co-authored paper on the morality of illicit markets in Soviet and post-Soviet Russia, and co-authored books on Poland and Estonia's transition. His current research project investigates the political economy of the Russian government war propaganda.
