The right leader can make or break a team. If you’re passionate about ensuring a workplace culture that is full of energy, reaching goals, and helping people, the Master of Public Management from Indiana University Kokomo is the degree for you. In the M.P.M. program, you become prepared for executive leadership positions in the public, private, and non-profit sectors. With a combination of quality academics and individualized attention from dedicated faculty, you’ll leave this program ready to advance your career and become the leader you dream of becoming.
At IU Kokomo, classes are led by faculty who come equipped with real-world knowledge and experience and a passion for teaching the next generation of leaders. Our small classroom settings provide a unique, relationship-based learning environment where you’ll gain the skills to cope and thrive with challenging human and technical issues that arise as public service managers. Our program also provides a broad, interdisciplinary background in the values and ethics of public administration and health care management.
The program can be completed on either a full-time or part-time basis and courses are offered in the evenings. You can also take classes in the format that works best for you – online, on-campus, or a hybrid of both. The core classes are regularly offered on a rotating basis during the fall and spring semesters. The courses for each of the two M.P.M. tracks are offered on a rotating basis during the summer semesters. View the M.P.M. curriculum for more details.
