Looking for some new resources to enhance student learning in your course? MERLOT (Multimedia Educational Resource for Learning and Online Teaching) provides descriptions and links to online learning resources including case studies, tutorials, animations, interactive multimedia, reference materials, quizzes/assessments, drills, and presentations suitable for higher education learning. Creative Commons, also introduced in this class, helps you find copyrighted media that come with some advance permissions for use. It is also suitable for faculty teaching hybrids or those looking for supplementary online materials for classroom courses. This training is delivered in Canvas using web resources, is self-paced, and can start and end when convenient for your schedule. The class requires completing assignments using MERLOT and Creative Commons. This course counts for those earning their Basic Online Course Development Certificate. Register anytime for the MERLOT class and you will receive the instructions to get started. Suitable for instructors.
