Application Requirements

Choosing the right program for your graduate work is a big decision. At Indiana University Kokomo, you’ll find a community where you belong. Below, you’ll find the application requirements for the Master of Public Management.

To qualify for admission to the M.P.M. program, a person must hold a bachelor’s degree or equivalent from an accredited college or university. This degree may be in any field. All admission decisions are based upon the student’s undergraduate grade point average, professional work experience, three letters of recommendation, and their statement of purpose.

To apply please submit the following:

1. Completed application, statement of purpose, and three letters of recommendation.
2. Official college or university transcripts* from all institutions attended.
3. Application fee.
4. Applicants whose native language is not English must demonstrate proficiency in English.

 * The GRE or GMAT may be required for students applying for admission into the M.P.M. program that exhibit undergraduate GPAs that are lower than 3.0. Subsequently, students with lower GPAs may also be expected to successfully complete two graduate-level courses within the M.P.M. program before being admitted.

International Applicants

A separate application form and $60 admission fee are required for international applicants.
