Licensing
Once you have successfully completed your education degree, you’ll be facing your next challenge: obtaining your teaching license. We understand that this process can be a bit intimidating. However, with the foundation and skills you obtain during the program and the licensing help offered here at Indiana University Kokomo, we’ll be with you every step of the way.
Initial teacher licensure is a process; you’ll have a few steps to complete, such as CPR/AED certification, suicide prevention training, and passing scores on licensing exams, that are required by the Indiana Department of Education. You can always schedule a time to sit down and chat with our licensing advisor for more information.
