I feel like I could not have been more prepared. That’s because of my personal drive, but also because of the faculty and staff who helped me get involved, and showed me the importance of being part of something greater than just showing up for class and getting my degree.

Cultural heritage and tourism class visits local landmarks

It can also be the small city factory hand-making glass in the traditional way, or the rural museum sharing the story of how farmers impact the world.
Virtual field trip herePlease note that while the Department of Hospitality and Tourism Management is housed alongside the School of Business, the department is not accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) International which accredits the School of Business programs. The B.S.H.T.M. program is excluded from such accreditation given the relatively low level of business content and the fact that as this newly created program grows, specialized accreditation that is more specifically associated within the hospitality and tourism field will be sought.
