IU Kokomo is located in Kokomo, Indiana. It is located one hour north of Indianapolis by car and three hours from Chicago.
IU Kokomo is a public, masters university that offers over 60 undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Ten programs have top professional accreditation to include AACSB accreditation of business degrees.

Currently we have over 50 international students studying here on F-1 visas. In some cases students are here with their families.

Yes. You can apply for assistance before you enter IU Kokomo and once you are in your program. International students are eligible to receive academic scholarships from IU Kokomo. Scholarship decisions are based on academic achievement and are automatically made at the time of the decision. Applicants do not need to apply for admission scholarships. All applicants are eligible by applying.
Awards are given at the time of the decision. IU Kokomo has a rolling admissions policy so applicants learn of a scholarship on a first come, first serve basis.
Yes. Students can work up to 20 hours on campus, but need to check with their department and IU Kokomo's office of immigration services to make sure they stay within the parameters of their visa.
*It is important to note that students will not earn enough money to pay for their tuition by working on campus.
The various entrance exams are an important part of your application but they are not the only criteria for us to judge you by. In fact, you can be conditionally accepted without a TOEFL score and undergraduates do not need to provide an SAT score.
Graduate programs are going to want to see a GRE score and the School of Business will require a GMAT for its programs.

Yes, we have tutors in our Writing Center who are equipped to help you with your English language skills. We will work with you if you choose to enroll in nearby language programs. Additionally, you can ask the IU Kokomo Library about the electronic language learning resource for students called Mango Connect.
We have a rolling admission here at IU Kokomo and in some cases can accept students for entry in the Fall, Spring and Summer semesters. This means that we will consider your application whenever you send it to us.
There are two important things to remember:
- Graduate programs sometimes have limited space and eventually they fill up.
- You need to leave yourself enough time to be accepted, receive your I-20, get a visa interview, get your visa, and make it to IU Kokomo.
Indiana University works very hard to provide applicants with a timely admissions decision. The timing of the decision is affected by the applicant's ability to submit all of the application requirements at once. Currently, applicants should expect a three-week wait for delivery of a decision after submitting all the required materials. Acceptance packets are delivered by FedEx.
