- Computer Guest Accounts are available to all non-IU affiliated Indiana residents who are eligible for Indiana Resident (INRE) borrower cards. A guest user must first obtain an INRE borrower's card before acquiring a Computer Guest Account.
- Computer Guest Accounts work on all library computers and are valid for a period of 30 days. Computer Guest Accounts are only accepted in the library, and they will not work outside the library building or off campus.
- Library users with a "lost" borrower's card who are still in the circulation system must pay a $5.00 fee in order to receive a new card.
- Priority use of library workstations is for students, faculty, and staff of Indiana University. Non-affiliated users with Computer Guest Accounts may be asked to relinquish the workstations to priority users.
An Indiana University network ID is required in order to log in to library computers and access online library resources. Those without a network ID can obtain a Computer Guest Account by visiting the library's Circulation desk. By offering guests access to the computer network, we fulfill our library's commitment to the Federal Depository Library Program, allowing citizens easy access to electronic government information.
