Indiana University Kokomo students, faculty, and staff may borrow materials using their Crimson cards. Members of the Kokomo community may obtain an Indiana Resident Borrower's Card.
Borrowing privileges, such as loan periods, vary slightly by patron type. Learn about your borrowing privileges and procedures.
If an item isn't returned or is returned past its due date, it will be overdue and may incur a fine. You could also be charged for lost and damaged items. Find out how we resolve overdue or non-returned items.
Renewing materials
Faculty, staff, and students can renew materials through My Account in IUCAT. Use your Indiana University Kokomo credentials to log in to the cataloging system, and then simply click on the Renew button next to any items you would like to renew. Renewed items will display the new due date.
All library patrons can also renew materials in person at the library's Circulation desk or via phone at 765-455-9513. Please have handy your IU library card number, name, address, and details about the item(s) you would like to renew.
Materials with outstanding fines or with holds or recalls placed on them may not be renewed.
To renew interlibrary loan materials, send a request for renewal to iukloan@iuk.edu. Please include your IU Kokomo username and the title(s) of the item(s) in your message.
Returning materials
Materials may be returned at the library's Circulation desk. An after-hours book drop is located on the library's southeastern wall, within the library building. This book drop is accessible whenever campus is open.
